One of the most important things we can do for sick exotic pets is to provide supportive care. Therapies such as syringe or tube feeding liquid formulas, fluid therapy, heat, and oxygen help to rescue an animal and get them feeling better while giving time for our medications to work. We have an intensive care ward located in the treatment area of the hospital so that your hospitalized pet will be under constant supervision. We also have specialized enclosures for the different types of species we treat to provide for their needs and keep them away from other species they may not want to see. We also have an isolation facility for animals with contagious disease so that other animals in the hospital can be protected.
